Murphy Cove is a 7th generation coastal fishing village rooted in history as a hub of boat building, blacksmithing and rum running.

Relax at our community campfire with a plate of complimentary freshly steamed mussels and listen to the strum of a guitar, tales of local folklore and the nearby waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Soak up a sunset boat tour or challenge host Brian to a game of crib. A sea-lover’s paradise! Come visit and enjoy a slice of old fashioned Nova Scotia hospitality!

Murphy’s Camping is a scenic & interactive campground in Nova Scotia. We’ve been providing unforgettable camping experiences since 1960.

We offer both RV and Tent sites, each having a unique set of characteristics. Whether you enjoy a site just meters from the Atlantic Ocean, or something a little more secluded, you will surely find a site that suits your preferences.

Find us 80 km East of Halifax on the beautiful Marine Drive (highway 7). At Murphy Cove, drive 1.5 km on Murphys Road.
